St Illtyd’s church in Llantrithyd has origins in the 12th century. The chancel, nave and tower were rebuilt in the 14th century.Further embellishment was added in the 16th and 17th centuries by the Mansel, Bassett and Aubrey families of nearby Llantrithyd Place. In the chancel is the exceptionally fine Basset tomb.
Llantrithyd has recently joined the East Vale Ministry Area.
A weekly service is held at 9.30am on Sundays.
